2023 Weidemann Hoftracs 1260LP

At Weidemann, the term LP stands for low position. This has a long tradition and means that the machine has a lower overall height and a low machine centre of gravity. On the one hand, the Hoftrac 1260LP allows you to pass clearances of less than 2 m without having to fold down the overhead guard. On the other hand, the loader is characterized by improved stability, which makes it unbeatable when it comes to handling heavy loads. In addition, our Direct Wheel Drive (dwDrive) is a powerful and efficient drive concept in which all four wheels are directly driven. This purely hydraulic wheel hub drive provides an increase in efficiency, excellent acceleration and thus enables lively handling as well as high thrust forces.

Features may include:

• With the Direct Wheel Drive (dwDrive), 4 wheel hub motors are placed directly on the wheels. This means that each wheel has its own motor that directly drives the respective wheel.

• The wheel hub motors are driven directly by the traction hydraulic pump, which means that there are no mechanical losses. The wheel hub motors are also protected against pressure peaks by means of a high-pressure protection. A re-suction between the wheel hub motors optimises the oil supply when cornering.

• This type of drive is advantageous for machines with an operating weight of up to 3 tons. Due to the purely hydraulic drive, there is no power loss due to axles or transmissions. In addition, the dwDrive enables high thrust forces, excellent acceleration and lively handling.

• The lowered seating position of the operator allows for a lower overall height of the machine. This means that even low passages of less than 2 m can be easily passed with a permanently mounted overhead guard or cab.

• Further advantages of the low design are a machine centre of gravity close to the ground and thus a plus in stability and easy access to the machine.

• In addition to the standard loading arm. Due to the longer loading arm, an increased lifting height and reach is realized. This means that there is no need to automatically switch to a larger machine. This makes compact machines even more efficient and flexible in use.

• In addition to the increased lifting height, the reach of the machine is also increased, which makes it possible, for example, to load and unload a trailer with a pallet fork, even in the second row.

• The loading arm damping is electrically activated and enables optimal handling of the machine in rough terrain and on the road. It is particularly recommended when the machine transports heavy loads in the bucket or on the pallet fork or when moving a heavy attachment at high speed over a long distance. The loading arm damping provides a significant increase in comfort for the driver.

• The loading arm damping prevents the machine from rocking at high travel speeds. This increases safety for the driver and protects the vehicle components by absorbing shocks.

• Compact dimensions and directional stability ensure optimum manoeuvrability and high manoeuvrability of the machine.

• The machine is ideally dimensioned in terms of its dimensions. As a result, it is also possible to work in confined spaces.

• With just a few steps, the operator can comfortably access the cab or the driver's platform of the machine.
